RIFLES

DPMS® LCAR™ Semi-Auto Rifle

DPMS continues to provide you with quality firearms that you can trust for any popular shooting sports discipline. This particular Panther model features a set of forged aluminum upper and lower receivers which are standard throughout the industry as meeting the military specification. The crown jewel of this rifle is the 16? Lightweight FNC Melonite treated barrel. The Ferritic Nitrocarburizing is a hardening process which improves barrel performance over mil-spec chrome plating in terms of barrel longevity, corrosion resistance and accuracy. By diffusing carbon and nitrogen into the barrel steel rather than adding a layer of material (as is the case in traditional chrome plating) the LCAR barrel is more durable and corrosion resistant without negatively effecting accuracy. Browning Maxus II Wicked Wing Semi-Automatic Shotgun

Maxus II Wicked Wing models have a lot to offer a shotgunner: Reliability, superior shooting comfort, a great trigger, intuitive handling and appearance. This is one shotgun that looks as good as it performs with a Cerakote Burnt Bronze finish applied to the receiver and barrel for protection superior to bluing. Day after day, whatever the weather, the Maxus II Wicked Wing is built to deliver the goods whether the ducks are cupped up and dropping into the decoys or just giving them a passing glance. The Maxus II builds on the success of the original, and adds a new look and more features that improve shooting comfort, performance and speed without sacrificing an ounce of the proven reliability the Maxus is lauded for. A SoftFlex cheek piece and 1-1/2" thick Inflex Recoil Pad combine to further reduce felt recoil and ease the sting of 3-1/2" magnum goose loads. Overmolded rubber panels that improve grip in all conditions have been added to the stock and forearm. The stock and forearm have been redesigned to be more comfortable. To fit an even broader range of shooters, the stock is now able to be easily trimmed up to 3/4". Perhaps the most noticeable change from the original is the addition of a screw-on magazine cap. This simple change was implemented after feedback from the Browning Pro Staff and public who wanted the ability to use a magazine extension for competition use. 560rds – 7.62×51 Igman 147gr. FMJ M80 Ammo in Ammo Can

Igman Ammunition 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details An ammo can full of ammo is like a hard candy shell filled with delicious chocolate. Either thing would have been fine on its own. But together? Perfection. This is 7.62×51 M80 ball ammunition (“M80” basically means this is the most “vanilla” 7.62×51 ammo you could buy). Suitable for rifles chambered for either 7.62×51 or 308 Winchester, this cartridge is loaded with a 147 grain FMJ bullet that ensures positive functionality by feeding smoothly and averting the accumulation of excessive lead residue within the rifling. Igman’s M80 bullet has a lead core and tombac (aka copper-zinc alloy) jacket. Nothing that could attract a magnet here! Igman loads their range rounds with non-corrosive Boxers and clean-burning spherical powder, which both help to keep a rifle cleaner over the course of a range day. The Bosnia and Herzegovina company also draws their own brass cases specifically for this ammo. It’s going to reload nicely, if that’s what you want. Igman’s M2A1 ammo can is a solid, seam-welded steel box that’ll resist all kinds of damage. Its steel latch shuts tight to lock the rubber-gasketed lid in place so it can block out harmful contaminants indefinitely. A must for preppers or folks who take their ammo to harsh environments! MACHINE GUNS

Catco Sterling 9mm SMG

The Catco Sterling 9mm SMG submachine gun is constructed entirely of steel and plastic and has a shoulder stock, which folds underneath the weapon. There is an adjustable rear sight, which can be flipped between 100 and 200-yard settings. Although of conventional blowback design firing from an open bolt, there are some unusual features: for example, the bolt has helical grooves cut into the surface to remove dirt and fouling from the inside of the receiver to increase reliability. There are two concentric recoil springs that cycle the bolt, as opposed to the single spring arrangement used by many other SMG designs. This double-spring arrangement significantly reduces “bolt-bounce” when cartridges are chambered, resulting in better obturation, smoother recoil, and increased accuracy. Additionally, the Sterling uses a much-improved (over the Sten) 34-round curved double-column feed box magazine, which is inserted into the left side of the receiver. The magazine follower, which pushes the cartridges into the feed port, is equipped with rollers to reduce friction. The bolt feeds ammunition alternately from the top and bottom of the magazine lips, and its fixed firing pin is designed so that it does not line up with the primer in the cartridge until the cartridge has entered the chamber. The Sterling employs a degree of what is known as Advanced Primer Ignition, in that the cartridge is fired while the bolt is still moving forward, a fraction of a second before the round is fully chambered. The firing of the round thus not only sends the bullet flying down the barrel but simultaneously resists the forward’s movement of the bolt. By this means it is possible to employ a lighter bolt than if the cartridge was fired after the bolt had already stopped, as in simple blowback, since the energy of the expanding gases would then only have to overcome the bolt’s static inertia (plus spring resistance) to push it back again and cycle the weapon; whereas in this arrangement some of this energy is used up in counteracting the bolt’s forwards momentum as well, and thus the bolt does not have to be so massive. The lighter bolt makes not only for a lighter gun, but a more controllable one since there is less mass moving to and fro within it as it fires. The suppressed version of the Sterling (L34A1/Mk.5) was developed for covert operations. This version uses a ported barrel surrounded by a cylinder with expansion chambers. The Australian and New Zealand SAS regiments used the suppressed version of the Sterling during the Vietnam War. It is notable for having been used by both Argentinian and British Special Forces during the Falklands War. A Sterling was used by Libyan agents to kill WPC Yvonne Fletcher outside the Libyan Embassy in London, which sparked the 1984 siege of the building. The Sterling has a reputation for excellent reliability under adverse conditions and, even though it fires from an open bolt, has good accuracy. With some practice, it is very accurate when fired in short bursts. While it has been reported that the weapon poses no problems for left-handed users to operate, it is not recommended without the wearing of ballistic eye protection. The path of the ejected cartridge cases is slightly down and backward, so mild burns can occasionally be incurred by left-handed shooters. A bayonet of a similar design as that for the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle was produced and issued in British Army service but was rarely employed except for ceremonial duties. Both bayonets were derived from the version issued with the Rifle No. 5 Mk I “Jungle Carbine”, the main difference being a smaller ring on the SLR bayonet to fit the rifle’s muzzle. When mounted, the Sterling bayonet was offset to the left of the weapon’s vertical line, which gave a more natural balance when used for bayonet-fighting. For a right-handed shooter, the correct position for the left hand while firing is on the ventilated barrel-casing, but not on the magazine, as the pressure from holding the magazine can increase the risk of stoppages, and a loose magazine can lead to dropping the weapon. The barrel-casing hold provides greater control of the weapon, so the right hand can intermittently be used for other tasks. A semi-circular protrusion on the right-hand side of the weapon, approximately two inches from the muzzle, serves to prevent the supporting hand from moving too far forward and over the muzzle.

Buffalo Bore Dangerous Game Ammunition 475 Linebaugh 330 Grain Lehigh Mono-Metal Lead-Free Box of 20

Buffalo Bore Dangerous Game ammunition is a line of mono-metal, non-expanding, dangerous game loads. These “Dangerous Game” (DG) loads are super high quality, very powerful, and will live up to their namesake. Mono-metal bullets have a few advantages (a couple of disadvantages too) over typical non-expanding hard cast bullets. These advantages may or may not be meaningful to each individual, depending on your usage. The advantages are that they are cleaner burning/firing than hard cast bullets. Also, hard cast bullets can smear their nose profile when they hit large bones at close range/high velocity. When the flat nose smears and changes shape, it can impact straight line penetration. The disadvantages are cost and case capacity issues, mono-metal bullets made of copper or brass alloys are lightweight for their length. Buffalo Bore loads their ammunition with the highest quality components available to maximize the performance of the ammunition. This ammunition is safe to use in all modern firearms that are in proper working condition. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
