The original Scout rifles were manufactured by the Austrian Steyr Arms, but this realistic replica from ActionSportGames and Modify is perfect to bring the piece to airsoft matches. Video games like Counter-Strike popularized this weapon design, making it one of the most memorable pieces of the 20th century onwards. This re-creation brings the Scout rifle’s unique properties to airsoft fields. The rifle is made from CNC-machined aluminum and steel parts, with further nylon and polymer reinforcement and attachments. This gives the rifle a realistic feel and weight. The outside appearance is a true-to-life copy of the original rifle design, down to the spare magazine storage in the back of the stock. In order to behave like a sniper rifle, the Steyr Scout has flip-up front and rear sights, although most users will upgrade to custom sights on the Pic rail on the barrel. The rifle comes with a foldable bipod design near the front of the barrel to facilitate proper handling and positioning. The nylon polymer stock has an attachment point for bipod rails should users want a customized solution. Upgraded straight from the factory, this rifle can compete and outmatch most customized sniper rifle builds with minimal effort and add-ons. The factory upgrades include an upgraded M140 spring system, which can hold an M190 spring without any adjustments necessary. The rifle also has 60-degree Modify Predator hop-up bucking to make full use of the enhanced hop-up. The Scout’s exteriors were designed to absorb shocks, and the mechanism parts were created to be as silent as possible. Here for your consideration is an all original Colt Model 639 the commercial version of the XM177E2 a hard to find variant of the full auto M16 family. The Military issued these iconic weapons to the MACVSOG special operation units in Vietnam in1967 and 1968. They feature a 11.5 inch barrel ,forward assist, two position aluminum collapsing stock. This model also came with a Colt manufactured Moderator which served to change the sound signature when fired . Because of this the BATF considers the moderator as a suppressor as such this gun will require two NFA transfer tax stamps. Both the gun and moderator will transfer on a form 4 in Pa. These do not come around very often they are scarce and very few where made by Colt for the commercial market. Condition: Overall appearance and finish is pristine. Bore and bolt are excellent .
