It has a factory edge and has been mirror polished down to perfection. The Smith & Wesson Model 65 Military & Police Heavy Barrel Stainless is a stainless-steel .357 Magnum / .38 Special revolver patterned of the Model 13. They were extensively used by law enforcement and produced from 1972-2004 This is the -8 model, which incorporated the 2 piece barrel. We were able to acquire a large amount of these as part of a Law Enforcement trade-in. There are slight variations in the conditions and rubber grips the grips you receive could be S&W, Hogue, or Pachmayr.
American Tactical Imports (ATI) showed off their AR-15 shotgun chambered in .410 gauge a few years back, well they’re finally coming out. I was walking through ATI’s booth to go fondle their MP-40 replica chambered in 9mm when I stumbled on the Omni Hybrid .410 shotgun. The new shotgun uses ATI’s OMNI Hybrid Mil-Spec, multi-caliber, polymer and metal lower receiver. The lower also uses a standard AR-15 6 position stock. The upper has a 2.5? chamber and an 18.5? barrel, 13? free float rail with Key MoD slots and a full length Picatinny rail up top. The Omni Hybrid .410 will include a 5 round magazine but a 15 round mag will also be available. The mags also have round count holes along the side. ATI claims their new Omni Hybrid .410 is compatible with most bird shot, buck shot and slugs on the market. I got to play around with it a bit and it’s pretty light, they didn’t have an exact weight but according to their prototype from a few years back they claimed it was only 6.5lbs.
