The full-sized MP5 SMG from Heckler & Koch is already quite portable, but some special forces units wanted an even smaller weapon. Thus, the MP5K was born, a concealable weapon that can pour rapid fire immediately. Umarex’s airsoft replica is entirely accurate, though the caliber markings are obviously different to denote its airsoft status.
Otherwise, the weapon is identical to the original, aside from an orange tip. It has an aluminum upper receiver and barrel assembly, while the lower receiver is a polymer. It’s a very light PDW and can be shot one-handed.
The pistol grip is necessary for such a weapon since rapid fire must be controlled to prevent wasting ammunition.
While it comes without a shoulder stock, the MP5K can accept any H&K MP5 stocks. The iron sights are permanently mounted on the gun. However, there’s a bracket for a short length of Picatinny rail.
Umarex includes a Ver 3 Full Metal gearbox for the best performance, and it’s entirely upgradeable if you want more out of this weapon. The adjustable hop-up lets you alter BB flight paths as well.

RIFLES
AR-15 pistol is a classification that exists due to some silly American gun laws and definitions. An AR pistol cannot have a stock, but can have a bare and exposed buffer tube. Another no-no is a vertical grip, but an angled grip like the Magpul AFG is legal.
Now of course nobody wants to run afoul of the Federal Government, so it’s imperative that you understand what makes an SBR an SBR, and what makes AR pistols legal. It may appear to be complicated and obfuscated but the defining characteristics are pretty straight forward if you know what you’re looking for.
AR-15 pistols can have barrels as short as you want them to. Personally, I own an AR-15 pistol with a 7.5-inch barrel and, while it is ridiculous, it’s a lot of fun.
Over the last few years, the popularity of AR-15 pistols has grown significantly. This growth is mostly tied to the advent of stabilizing braces. Stabilizing braces turned a gaudy, heavy, and awkward gun into a stable, comfortable-to-shoot weapon.
Why Would I Want One?
We won’t dive too deep into the NFA, but the section that concerns this article is the law that rifles must have 16-inch barrels, or else they are regulated under the NFA.
So, if you wanted an AR-15 with a 7.5-inch barrel, you’d have to pay a tax stamp, ask for permission, and wait for 3 to 6 months for approval. Once approved you could then own an SBR. Or you could just buy an AR pistol and skip all that.
There are a lot of other reasons you might want an AR pistol, besides just the tax stamp.

The original metal under the gold plating is stainless steel. The grips are walnut with the silver Colt medalion. The 6" barrel has a twist rate of 1:14". The action is double/single. The 6 round cylinder also accepts 38 Special. It has a red ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight.

HANDGUNS
This pistol started its life in 1991 (Date Code NZ) at the Fabrique Nationale Herstal manufactureing facility in Belgium, and was then sent to Viana, Portugal for final assembly and test firing. Finding this pistol in this date rage in this condition has been a long process, but we only wanted the very best Hi-Power pistols for this project. It came to us new in the box condition, with a perfect barrel, as did all of the pistols we used for the project.
These are just exceptional examples and the highest quality of the Browing Hi-Power manufactured during their exceptionally long production life, from 1935-2018, the second longest produced pistol in history, only being outdone by the Colt 1911.
We started this project off trying to collect several of the finest examples of modern Hi-Power Pistols we could find. That took about 6 months, and about another 12 months to have the custom work done at NightHawk. They performed the following work on each of these pistols for us, to our exacting expectations, using the same gun smith for each of these guns, Master Gun Smith Steven Cox.
Nighthawk decided back in early 2015 not to try to re-invent the perfect double stack, but to improve upon the Browning Hi Power. This classic design offers perfect balance, size and fire power, with an impressive 13/15 round magazine capacity. We took one of the most revered pistols of all time and made it better. The results of our efforts have improved accuracy, reliability, durability, and esthetics!
