This pistol started its life in 1991 (Date Code NZ) at the Fabrique Nationale Herstal manufactureing facility in Belgium, and was then sent to Viana, Portugal for final assembly and test firing. Finding this pistol in this date rage in this condition has been a long process, but we only wanted the very best Hi-Power pistols for this project. It came to us new in the box condition, with a perfect barrel, as did all of the pistols we used for the project. These are just exceptional examples and the highest quality of the Browing Hi-Power manufactured during their exceptionally long production life, from 1935-2018, the second longest produced pistol in history, only being outdone by the Colt 1911. We started this project off trying to collect several of the finest examples of modern Hi-Power Pistols we could find. That took about 6 months, and about another 12 months to have the custom work done at NightHawk. They performed the following work on each of these pistols for us, to our exacting expectations, using the same gun smith for each of these guns, Master Gun Smith Steven Cox. Nighthawk decided back in early 2015 not to try to re-invent the perfect double stack, but to improve upon the Browning Hi Power. This classic design offers perfect balance, size and fire power, with an impressive 13/15 round magazine capacity. We took one of the most revered pistols of all time and made it better.
